Illuminating ceiling

Different things inspired the lightings I realised in Beijing ;
First, the Beijing 's sky, low, foggy, it filters the light and gives the feeling of a ceiling above our heads.
The wooden frames of the lamps remind the traditional decorated ceilings.
Similar structures are often used in front of windows in order to dim the light.
Here, the lightening frame once hung, creates a new space in the room, like a second ceiling.
The TLs light is filtered through a paper sheet to recall the misty sky. Eventually, different weavings are tight on the wooden frames;
the object will then look differently as it is on or off.
